Procurement Manager AMEI

As the Procurement Manager, you will report to the Head of Global Procurement and Supplier Management. The purpose of this role is to support the implementation of the Global Procurement Strategy and to plan, lead and manage all procurement activities in the Africa, Middle East, and India region. The role ensures delivery against performance targets for cost, quality, service, innovation, and compliance. The role will manage complex spend categories including Air freight, Courier (CEP), 4PL/customs brokerage, and Packaging. It requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders across business units to ensure Biocair sources and manages suppliers effectively while upholding customer service excellence. Responsibilities Execute regional sourcing strategies aligned with global category plans Lead supplier selection, onboarding, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring Manage regional RFQ/RFP processes and ensure documentation is complete and compliant Identify and deliver cost savings opportunities and value creation initiatives Maintain and manage the supplier database and pricing records for the region Track supplier performance against KPIs, SLAs, and compliance obligations Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement needs and challenges Conduct regional supplier audits, risk assessments, and mitigation plans Our company values matter, and guide all that we do each day. Key Competencies Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field Solid experience in procurement across logistics, supply chain, or commercial services Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across cultures Good understanding of category management, supplier performance, and spend analytics Experience in international procurement and contract management Ability to manage procurement complexity across multiple geographies Benefits Between ZAR 680,000 - ZAR 837,000 per annum, depending on experience Pension Life Insurance Medical Aid Benefit 20 days holiday Birthday leave Wellness Programme This is a full time role, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday and offered as 100% on-site based at our Kempton Park office.
