Job Description A well established renewable energy firm is currently in search of an Asset Manager to join their team in Cape Town. Requirements BSc : Electrical Engineering / Engineering 6-10 years’ experience Vast experience within the renewable energy sector (REIPPP) Managing the companies on behalf of the shareholders, developing and executing the business plan approved by the board. Ensure that the company adopts and implements the Board of Director’s company strategy Overall monitoring of commercial and administrative construction, operations, and consultancy contracts. Oversee and manage the O&M contractor to ensure that maximum output and performance of the wind and solar projects are achieved at all times. Monitoring and ensuring that the contractor has clear operations and maintenance strategy’s, systems, tools and plans which are in line with the O&M scope of services. Monitor and audit maintenance activities to ensure compliance to contractual commitments. Liaise with and manage the various stakeholders Budget control Assess the principal risks of the company and to ensure that these risks are being monitored and managed Ensure compliance to environmental, health and safety regulations as per OHSA and environmental legislation Management and leadership experience Proficient in MS Office as well as MS Projects Correspondence will only be conducted with short listed candidates.
