About the job Equites is seeking an Asset Manager, capable of performing effective asset management of logistics and industrial properties. Overview Employment: Full-time Business unit: Asset Management Reporting to: National Asset Manager Remuneration: Market-related Location: Cape Town, South Africa Responsibilities Assist with all matters relating to acquisitions, disposals & renewals Implementation of sales and leases Review property budgets Provide input on drafting of agreements and review Attend tenant meetings Assist with viewings for Cape Town vacancies Provide input for the interim and annual external property valuation cycles Review municipal general valuation rolls and supplementary valuation rolls and provide recommendations Provide assistance in management of co-ownerships and joint ventures Review Property Owners Association, Body Corporate and CID related documentation Review tenant billing and assist billing department with tenant billing and municipal recons Qualifications Tertiary qualification (Property-related degree / BCom / LLB) 3 – 5 years' property experience Preferred: Relevant experience in a similar role Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Work well in a team environment Problem-solving skills Implementing responsibilities within a policy framework Good interpersonal skills Personal qualities of integrity, credibility and commitment, and display a high degree of professional ethics and honesty Well organised, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks / deadlines Selections will be made in line with the Equites employment equity plan. #J-18808-Ljbffr
