Location George, Western Cape Reports To Group Head of HR Duties Talent Management Work closely with the Recruitment officer, external Recruitment Consultants, HR Administrators and Line managers to ensure that the best talent is recruited, onboarded and retained in the organisation Writing & refining job profiles/descriptions, screening, conducting interviews and consulting on hiring decisions in collaboration with line managers Coordinating Psychometric and/or behavioural assessment testing Onboarding and offboarding of employees Performance management, appraisals, and development/maintenance of succession plans Drive employee engagement, culture and wellbeing Compliance Ensure compliance to all acts and legal requirements/frameworks including SIZA audits Advise Line Management on Labour matters Ensure EE Plans and Reports correctly implemented Ensure contracts, offers, policies all up to date and meticulously maintained and applied Review and implement all relevant HR policies Industrial Relations Facilitate conflict resolution and promote a positive work environment Coaching managers and supervisors wrt performance reviews, employee discipline, counselling and wellness Handling all Employee related problems, grievances and counselling Investigating disciplinary issues, issuing Disciplinary Notices and required documentation pertaining to the outcome Monitoring all IR related policies and procedures and ensuring adherence to the HR Manual Facilitate positive Union relations and negotiations HR Admin Compiling, amending, and recommending HR policies and procedures Drawing up Appointment Letters, Employment Agreements, Termination Agreements and any other HR Related Agreements, SLA's, Appraisals etc. Preparing and compiling Annual People Budget in conjunction with Line Managers and Group Head of HR Compiling and updating Organograms for Department Heads and for auditing purposes Oversee the successful administration of the VIP SAGE People 300 HR and Performance Review system on the farm Updating of H&S administration on H&S Tempo online system Qualifications Minimum of Matric HR Qualification 5 years HR Generalist / 5 years HR/People Management experience Advanced MS Word & Excel Excellent communication skills in English AND Afrikaans are essential Must be able to work flexible hours as per operational requirements Must have a driver’s licence and own reliable transport #J-18808-Ljbffr
