Learning Designer Consultant

The Learning Designer Consultant will work closely with our product and programmes team to design, develop, and implement blended learning solutions. This includes creating a mix
of online self-paced content, interactive activities, and instructor-led sessions that ensure a
seamless and enriching learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
â Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives and outcomes.
â Design and develop engaging and interactive learning content, including e-learning modules, videos, quizzes, and other digital learning materials.
â Integrate various instructional methods and technologies to create a blended learning environment.
â Develop detailed course outlines, storyboards, and prototypes for new courses.
â Utilise learning management systems (LMS) to organise and deliver content.
â Apply best practices in instructional design and adult learning principles to create effective learning experiences.
â Evaluate and revise content based on feedback and performance data.
â Ensure all content is accessible and inclusive for a diverse student population.
â Provide guidance and support to instructors transitioning to the blended learning model.
â Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in e-learning and instructional design. Required Skills and Qualifications:
â Proven experience as a Learning Designer, Instructional Designer, or similar role.
â Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing and developing digital learning content.
â Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate,Camtasia).
â Experience with LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas).
â Familiarity with multimedia production tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Vyond).
â Solid understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design models (e.g.,ADDIE, SAM).
â Excellent project management and organisational skills.
â Utilise agile project management methodologies to design, develop, and deliver high-quality learning experiences
â Strong written and verbal communication skills.
â Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications:
â University degree or commensurate professional experience required.
â Experience in digital skills training or technology-related fields.
â Knowledge of UX design principles as applied to learning experiences.
â Certification in instructional design or related areas.
