Job title: HR / Payroll Administrator
Role Duties And Responsibilities
•Full Payroll Administration of our clients' employees.
•The processing of our clients payroll on a monthly / bi-weekly / weekly basis on SAGE VIP.
•Maintain payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating and inputting data from clients and management.
•Assist our clients with the administration regarding payroll administrative matters and monthly submissions.
•Process our clients' employees' expenses within the monthly salaries / wages.
•Administration of our clients' employees' loans and other ad hoc expense.
•Liaise with our clients to ensure accurate information for payment.
•Computes our clients employee take-home pay based on time records, benefits, and taxes.
•Complete clients' payroll reports for record-keeping purposes and managerial review
•Performs the distribution of our clients' employees' salaries and wages for the direct transfers to their employees' bank accounts and payslips.
•Determines organisation's tax obligations by calculating taxes as well as statutory deductions, union payments and 3rd Parties, etc.
•Maintain our clients' employees' confidences and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
•All our clients' payroll accounting activities and reconciliations.
•Monthly SARS EMP submission and loading of EMP payment on E-filing.
•Monthly UIF Declarations.
•Bi-annual EMP501 reconciliations and submissions to SARS on Easyfile.
•Annual IRP5 reconciliations.
•Annual COIDA Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases submissions.
•Meeting all statutory deadlines regarding payroll administration with SARS, Department of Labour.
•Adhere to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant law.
Role Experience And Qualifications
•HR or Payroll Diploma / 5 years' experience within an HR / Payroll Function.
•Computer literate and Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills.
•Min 1 year SAGE VIP Experience with processing and full payroll function.
•Full understanding of BCEA and Labour Legislation.
•Understanding of Payroll Recons and General Ledgers.
•Ability to think logically and perform duties within very tight deadlines.
