Conference and Events Sales Consultant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Conference and Events Sales Consultant who is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate must be willing to go the extra mile, including working overtime and weekends, to meet operational requirements. This role involves assisting with site inspections, conference and event planning and bookings, and compiling quotations. The consultant will also support sales and marketing efforts for group bookings, conferencing, team buildings, banquets, year-end functions, and birthday celebrations.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Provide outstanding customer service and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Handle client inquiries and follow up promptly.
- Go the extra mile to meet clients' needs and expectations.
Sales and Marketing:
- Assist in sales and marketing efforts for group bookings, conferences, team buildings, banquets, year-end functions, and birthday celebrations.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients.
Event Planning and Coordination:
- Conduct site inspections with clients to showcase facilities and services.
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of conferences and events, from initial contact to execution.
- Compile and present detailed quotations based on client requirements.
Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction to encourage repeat business.
- Gather feedback from clients to improve service delivery.
Operational Support:
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless event execution.
- Be flexible and willing to work overtime and weekends as required.
- Coordinate with various departments to meet client needs and operational requirements.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in conference and events sales or a related field.
- Proven track record in sales and customer service.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and event management software
