Key Account Manager (Automotive/Commercial Vehicles & Logistics)Location: Isando, JohannesburgKey ResponsibilitiesStrategic Customer EngagementIdentify and maintain relationships with national fleet clients (100+ vehicles).Lead high-level negotiations and long-term supply agreements.Ensure seamless coordination of sales, aftersales, and lifecycle support.Account Development & GrowthBuild and implement growth plans for national accounts focused on retention and value-added services.Drive incremental national fleet sales.Develop tailored Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and lifecycle proposals.Dealer & Network CollaborationWork with independent dealers and regional managers to align Key Account activities.Support dealers in retaining invoicing, margin, and operational delivery.Customer Segmentation & GovernanceMaintain the fleet segmentation model and oversee allocation of Key Account targets.Reporting & Performance ManagementMonitor and report sales performance, pipeline, and competitor activity.Conduct monthly reviews with dealers and regional managers.Required Qualifications & ExperienceRelevant tertiary qualification in Sales, Business, or related field.Minimum 57 years of B2B sales or Key Account Management experience in commercial vehicles, logistics, or similar industry.Proven ability to engage C-suite clients and close complex deals.Strong knowledge of dealer-based networks and South African commercial vehicle market.Code 8 drivers licence.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
