  • Training Program Development:
    • Design and develop training programs and materials, including workshops, e-learning modules, and on-the-job training sessions.

  • Delivery of Training:
    • Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions across multiple store locations throughout South Africa.
    • Utilize a variety of training methods to accommodate different learning styles and ensure retention of information.
  • Assessment and Evaluation:
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
    • Continuously improve training content and delivery based on feedback and changing business needs.
  • Coaching and Mentorship:
    • Provide one-on-one coaching and mentorship to staff members, particularly those in supervisory or management roles.
    • Develop leadership development programs to prepare staff for advancement within the company.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with store managers and the HR department to identify training needs and priorities.

  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate records of training activities and employee progress.
    • Prepare regular reports on training outcomes and present findings to senior management.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is advantageous.
    • Relevant certifications in training and development (e.g., CPTD, CIPD) are a plus.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a training or development role, preferably within the retail sector.
    • Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs to diverse audiences.
    • Experience in using modern training tools and technologies, including e-learning platforms.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
    • Ability to motivate and inspire staff at all levels.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and learning management systems (LMS).
    • Analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and employee performance.
