A well-established hospitality group is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to join their team in Cape Town. This role is focused on Leisure, Corporate, TMC, MICE, and Events markets, with the primary objective of driving revenue, expanding brand presence, and strengthening partnerships across key market segments.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, target-driven individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies and partnerships to achieve revenue targets.
- Maintain and grow relationships with key clients and business partners , with a focus on generating new business across multiple locations.
- Keep a strong focus on the Leisure Market , as well as TMC and Corporate sectors , in line with the cross-selling strategy across sister properties in Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Durban .
- Collaborate with the wider sales team to align efforts, share best practices, and drive sales performance across all market segments.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share and enhance brand visibility within Cape Town and beyond.
- Manage and track sales activities and performance , ensuring all revenue targets and budgetary expectations are met.
- Assist in the planning and execution of promotional events, campaigns, and special offers to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
- Provide regular sales reports and market feedback to senior management, offering insights and strategic recommendations for growth.
Qualifications & Competencies Required:
- Minimum of 5+ years of proven sales experience within the hotel or hospitality industry , with a solid track record of successful conversions.
- Strong understanding of the Leisure Market in Cape Town , as well as Corporate, TMC, MICE, PCOs, and Events sectors.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively , and perform under pressure while achieving sales targets.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills, with a proactive approach to client management.
- A collaborative team player who demonstrates integrity, authenticity, and a passion for excellence in hospitality sales.
- Results-oriented, with a strategic and creative approach to problem-solving and sales development.
- Strong organizational skills , with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
