Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the National Sales Strategy across multiple channels.
  • Manage and lead a team, including Key Account Managers and Regional Sales Managers.
  • Define and implement sales objectives, budgets, and performance indicators.
  • Drive sales growth, revenue targets, and profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Conduct market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Oversee stakeholder relationship management and ensure high service levels.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with company culture and leadership principles.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales, or related field (NQF Level 7+).
  • Minimum 8 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG.
  • At least 5 years of people management experience in a corporate sales environment.
  • Proven experience working with major retail accounts and wholesale distribution networks.
  • Strong expertise in new business development, including identifying and entering new sales channels.
  • Ability to develop and execute sales strategies for both existing and new markets.
  • Understanding of category management, merchandising, and promotional planning within FMCG.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work extended hours when required.
  • Valid Drivers License (Code EC).
