Introduction

In search of a Strong Procurement and Shipping Administrator.

Must have experience in procurement, costings, and shipping knowledge.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Load accepted orders onto the system and complete outstanding order sheets.
  • Create Purchase Orders
  • Check and update stock on the system
  • Expediting knowledge
  • Follow up on outstanding documentation from suppliers.
  • Update Outstanding Orders.
  • Update purchasing records, data and pricing into our inventory system.
  • Liaising with our Clearing and Forwarding Agents.
  • Shipping Knowldge
  • Prepare import and export documents including packing list, invoices, country of origin, letter of credit, insurance, etc.
  • Liaise with forwarders on delivery schedule and shipment arrangement.
  • Liaise with forwarder on cargo clearance, permit and delivery.
  • Liaise with transporter for shipment.
  • Update and monitor status of shipping arrangement and delivery.
  • Seek freight quotations and make recommendations on competitive forwarder or agent, carrier and insurer for shipment.
  • Arrange documentation for all STOP Containers (SAPS, NRCS, CUSTOM)
  • Sorting out all Audit relating documentation to Procurement.
  • All documentation and exchange rate deals with the bank.
  • Costing of all shipments both Local & Foreign.
  • GRVs of incorrect stock.
  • BOM Stock into System
  • GRN & GRV Queries to Supplier.
  • Liaise with supplier to resolve issues such as quality or quantity discrepancies
  • Report on a Monthly basis for GRN & GRVs
  • Maintain Shipment files.
  • Make sure all bill of entries is marked off by Standard bank.
  • Reprinting of invoices And Picking Slips
  • Assisting Salesmen with stock items.
  • Local purchases of office consumables
