JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Title: HR Admin
Employment Type: Permanent, On-Site
Work Location: Gauteng, Johannesburg
JOB CONTEXT:
Our client is a well-established and innovative engineering company specializing in railway systems, rolling stock refurbishment, railway infrastructure, telecommunications, and power solutions. They are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Administrator to support human resource functions. The ideal candidate will assist with HR processes, employee relations, recruitment coordination, and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the HR department.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with recruitment processes, including job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing contracts and conducting inductions.
- Administer employee benefits, leave tracking, and payroll documentation.
- Handle HR-related queries and provide support to employees regarding policies and procedures.
- Assist in coordinating training and development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Prepare HR reports and documentation as required
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in an HR administration or support role.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR software.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
PACKAGE & REMUNERATION:
- Compensation will be determined based on qualifications, applicable banking experience, and previous earnings.
