JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Title: HR Admin
Employment Type: Permanent, On-Site
Work Location: Gauteng, Johannesburg

JOB CONTEXT:

Our client is a well-established and innovative engineering company specializing in railway systems, rolling stock refurbishment, railway infrastructure, telecommunications, and power solutions. They are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Administrator to support human resource functions. The ideal candidate will assist with HR processes, employee relations, recruitment coordination, and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the HR department.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with recruitment processes, including job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing contracts and conducting inductions.
  • Administer employee benefits, leave tracking, and payroll documentation.
  • Handle HR-related queries and provide support to employees regarding policies and procedures.
  • Assist in coordinating training and development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Prepare HR reports and documentation as required


QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an HR administration or support role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR software.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion


PACKAGE & REMUNERATION:
  • Compensation will be determined based on qualifications, applicable banking experience, and previous earnings.
