The successful candidates will have the following:

Qualifications:
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Auditor courses / certificates

Knowledge / experience of:

Client Service:

  • Assist with any client queries and respond in a timely and professional manner.
  • Interact with the clients, building a strong a professional relationship.
Reporting
  • Create claim sheets specifying claim numbers and indicating full audit findings.
  • Prepare audit findings, write audit reports, and develop recommendations.
  • Monitor daily the VAT Account and pull the SoA from SARS and submit to the Audit Manager.
VAT201
  • Review, compile and submit the final data link to the Audit Manager.
  • Lead the onsite VAT201 audit process and conduct quality controls of the Auditor and supporting documentation.
  • Conduct the full VAT201 audit as per the audit procedure manual.
  • Finalise VAT workings and prepare final schedules.
  • Capture the monthly VAT201 on eFiling for submission.
  • Review, Prepare and submit monthly and Year-End journals with T-Account recon to the Audit Manager.
  • Prepare and upload supporting documentation for SARS verifications. Review and ensure documents comply with Section 20 of the VAT Act.
  • Extract AP schedule and submit to the AP department.
VAT Review / Assessments
  • Reconcile the input and output VAT account.
  • Investigate and resolve any reason for not reconciling.
  • Review, compile and submit the final data link to the Audit Manager.
  • Lead the onsite Review audit process and conduct quality controls of the Auditor and supporting documentation.
  • Conduct the full On-Site audit as per the audit procedure manual.
  • Assist the Audit Manager to draft the Audit Findings Report.
  • Present Audit findings to the Audit Committee
  • Investigate SARS Assessments.
SARS & AG Queries
  • Assist the Audit Manager with SARS and AG queries.

Team Management
  • Lead, guide team while conducting on-site Audits.
  • Ensure that the team abide by the companys code of conduct.
  • Assist with the performance management review process.
