ENVIRONMENT:A fast-growing FinTech company with a footprint on the African continent seeks the experience of a highly meticulous and solutions-driven QA Support Analyst to join its team and contribute to the growth of the software platform. You will play a vital role in ensuring the quality, performance, and functionality of products through comprehensive testing and validation processes. The ideal candidate will require an ISTQB Certification with 5+ years work experience in a Quality Assurance role with strong SQL for database testing and validation. DUTIES:Provide second-line support and perform root cause analysis to effectively resolve reported issues.Offer weekend standby support as needed to ensure timely resolution of critical issues.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Developers and Product Owners, to communicate and address quality issues.Conduct thorough testing of software applications to identify and troubleshoot bugs, defects, and other issues.Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate product functionality.Accurately document and report defects, providing detailed information to facilitate efficient issue resolution.Perform Regression Testing to ensure that previously resolved defects do not recur and that new changes do not negatively affect the system.Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging testing tools to continuously enhance the quality assurance process. REQUIREMENTS:Qualifications ISTQB Certification. Experience/Skills 5+ Years of experience in a Quality Assurance role.Strong proficiency in SQL for database testing and validation.A strong commitment to continuous development and upskilling in testing tools and technologies. Advantageous Experience in a Support role.Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and familiarity with various testing methodologies.
