Seeking a dynamic Branch Manager to oversee the operations, sales, marketing, and performance of an artisan training center. The ideal candidate is a qualified artisan with strong technical expertise, managerial experience, and a passion for sales and business development. This role combines operational management, client engagement, and facilitation to ensure the branch meets its objectives.
Minimum Requirements:
Red Seal Trade Certificate in Mechanical Fitting, Millwright, or Electrical.
Additional qualifications in management, sales, or marketing are advantageous.
At least 3 years’ experience as a facilitator or lecturer in a technical trade.
Proven experience in branch operations and sales management.
Familiarity with SETA, NAMB, and QCTO requirements.
Strong technical knowledge in the relevant trade.
Sales-driven mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
Proficiency in managing resources, health and safety, and accreditation requirements.
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally.
Flexibility to work outside standard office hours when required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Branch Management (25% of Role):
Manage daily branch operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
Oversee resource optimization, health and safety protocols, and accreditation requirements.
Align branch activities with organizational goals through regular communication with senior management.
Sales and Business Development (75% of Role):
Develop strategies to increase sales and expand the client base.
Convert leads into sales and drive profitable operations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry stakeholders, and training hosts.
Promote company services and explore opportunities to broaden offerings.
Training and Facilitation:
Step in as a facilitator when necessary to maintain uninterrupted training delivery.
Ensure high-quality training outcomes and compliance with regulatory standards.
Build relationships with host employers to facilitate learner placements.
Visit host companies to support learners and ensure adherence to training requirements.
