Bible Media is a Christian Media Ministry, producing and providing content to inspire the Christian Way. The organisation underwent a process of digital transformation and is currently building a more comprehensive digital footprint. A dynamic career opportunity currently exists for a self-motivated and energetic individual to create and manage innovative digital and print publications in line with the organisation's purpose, while taking into account economic sustainability and the needs of the target market.ResponsibilitiesStrategic management and positioning of Bible Media’s publications and products (e.g. Lig, Kerkbode, Jeugfokus, Bybelkor, etc.)Development and implementation of a digital strategy that expands, compliments and supports the reach and impact of Bible Media’s contentResearch, market development and product innovation in order to stay up to date with customer needs and the relevance of existing publicationsManage budgets of publications and digital products and ensure financial sustainabilityPersonnel management of the Content TeamDevelop and manage integrated marketing and communication for all Bible Media’s productsBuilding and maintaining partnerships with relevant organisations and groups (churches, synods, ministers, etc.)RequirementsRelevant postgraduate qualificationIn-depth knowledge / experience of digital media, marketing, sales, and financial managementMinimum of 10 years of experience on a managerial levelMinimum of 5 years of experience in a publication environmentKnowledge of applicable legislation and digital trendsLeadership and management skillsPlanned and systematic way of workingInnovative thinking and ability to take initiativeStrong decision-making and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsNegotiation skills for long-term relationshipsEffective and proactive administrative styleValue-driven and mission-conscious personHigh level of emotional intelligence and adaptability (change management)Relationship-oriented person who motivates and inspires clients and staff
