Qualifications and ExperienceBachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, HR Technology, or related field.Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile).5+ years experience in data management projects, preferably in HR and/or mining industry.Experience in Denodo and related environments.Strong project management skills (PMBOK or Agile methodologies).Expertise in ETL processes and data migration strategiesKnowledge of HR systems and mining industry HR practicesKey Responsibilities Project Planning & ExecutionDevelop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for HR data migration and ETL processes.Coordinate cross-functional teams including HR, IT, Data Engineering, and external vendors.Data Management & ETLOversee design and implementation of ETL workflows for HR data (employee records, payroll, benefits, and training).Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with mining industry regulations and labour laws.Manage data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities.Stakeholder ManagementAct as primary liaison between HR leadership, IT teams, and business units.Communicate project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior management.Risk & ComplianceEnsure adherence to data privacy regulations (e.g., POPIA) and internal governance standards.Identify and mitigate risks related to data integrity and system integration.Technology & ToolsWork with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS) and HR systems (SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar).Collaborate on database management (SQL, data warehouses) and reporting solutions.
