About the Position


Role summary The Premier Account Manager in Cape Town is directly responsible for the retention, satisfaction and growth within assigned portfolio of national and regional customers and prospective customers.

They will provide account management support to specific corporate accounts and serve as key strategic contact for each customer.

The PAM will set daily/weekly/monthly goals to ensure growth and retention as well as excellent customer service to the account base.

In addition, you will be responsible for New Business in the area.

Responsibilities:
Implement, execute and ensure company meets service commitments
Serve as primary point of contact for all Premier Account corporate contacts and regional customers.
Responsible for account retention and growth within the portfolio of assigned accounts:
Up sell every account on to the suite of services, including: Digital, audio and scenting solutions and any additional services or products offered
Present new promotional opportunities
Produce new contracts and addendums as required
Serve as primary contact on new customer enquiries and response process – this includes, call-in, website enquiries and other new leads
Create proposal packages
Participate in final sales presentations where applicable
Implement proactive communication strategies as scheduled
Maintain industry knowledge regarding customer trends and collaborate with customers
Execute on Premier Account sales/service efforts
Ensure accuracy of all account database information and Premier Account database information, ensure ongoing updates as required.
Responsible for day-to-day management duties
Weekly forecast and monthly forecasts, as well as weekly call schedules
Re-contract reports – Renewal of contracts timeously and accurately.
Attend Sales and Operations meetings as required
Submit annual goals and objectives
Responsible for sales via website – maintenance and updates as required.

Where a customer cancels satellite subscriptions – up sell to Profusion and or other digital media or scenting solutions offered.

Education and Experience

Min 3+or more years' experience in account management. Working knowledge of client problem solving, coordination of account management.
Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Sales preferred.
Experience setting appointments
Experience managing many clients
Experience dealing with difficult customers.
A background in Digital Sales, Audio & Visual Sales / Marketing would be advantageous
Relevant Sales Courses
Experience selling business-to-business solutions to nationwide companies, preferably in the area of recurring revenue services.
Prior experience successfully working with national sales accounts with cycles lasting 4-6 months or more.

Track record of strong performance against sales goals and objectives, as evidenced in quarterly and annual goals - goals and targets not set.

Track record of exceeding revenue expectations by meeting and exceeding quota's and sales targets
Franchise and name-brand experience a plus.
