We are seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Engagement Specialist & Onboarding Subject Matter Expert. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth onboarding process for new employees while also fostering engagement and satisfaction among our existing workforce. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of HR expertise, communication skills, and a passion for cultivating a positive company culture.

Responsibilities:

Onboarding Process Management:

Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company's onboarding process to ensure new employees have a seamless integration into the organization.

Collaborate with various departments to create comprehensive onboarding materials, including welcome kits, training modules, and resource guides.

Coordinate onboarding schedules and activities to provide a structured and informative experience for new hires.

Gather feedback from new employees to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments to the onboarding process.

Engagement Initiatives:

Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives and programs to promote a positive work environment and enhance employee morale.

Organize team-building activities, social events, and recognition programs to foster camaraderie and appreciation within the workforce.

Partner with department heads to address employee concerns and develop solutions to improve overall job satisfaction.

Monitor employee engagement metrics and develop strategies to address any areas of concern.

Subject Matter Expertise:

Serve as a subject matter expert on onboarding best practices, employee engagement strategies, and company culture.

Stay updated on industry trends and developments related to onboarding and employee engagement and incorporate relevant insights into existing processes.

Provide guidance and support to managers and team leaders on effective onboarding techniques and employee engagement strategies.

Communication and Collaboration:

Communicate effectively with new hires, managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency throughout the onboarding process.

Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development teams to streamline processes and implement best practices.

Act as a liaison between employees and management to facilitate open communication and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Matric Essential

Diploma.

Proven experience in HR, employee engagement, or related field, with a focus on onboarding and orientation programs.

Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships at all levels of the organization.

Creative thinker with a passion for developing innovative solutions to enhance employee engagement and retention.

Knowledge of HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
