Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an Employee Value Proposition (EVP) strategy that attracts, motivates, and retains top talent.
- Develop and implement comprehensive onboarding programs to ensure a seamless transition for new employees.
- Manage the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment and selection to offboarding, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
- Drive Corporate Social Investment (CSI) initiatives and programs to contribute positively to the community and enhance the company's reputation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, including Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE), Skills Development, and Employment Equity.
- Prepare accurate and timely HR reports, metrics, and analytics to support decision-making and provide insights to the management team.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and implement HR systems and tools to streamline HR operations and enhance efficiency.
- Implement talent retention strategies, including succession planning, career development programs, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Develop and deliver effective training and development programs to enhance employees' skills, knowledge, and performance.
- Manage employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling, while ensuring fair treatment and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and coaching managers to effectively manage their teams' performance.
- Monitor and put initiatives in place to drive EWP.
- Maintain positive and productive industrial relations, including managing relationships.
- Drafting, maintaining and reviewing HR policies as well as ensuring that all employees are aware of HR policies.
- Stay updated on HR best practices, trends, and legal developments to ensure the company's HR policies and practices remain compliant and competitive.
