Job Summary:


As a Property Administrator, your main responsibility will be to assist in the administrative and operational tasks related to the management of properties under our care.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of property operations, maintaining accurate records, and providing support to property managers and clients.


Responsibilities:

Lease Administration:

  • Prepare, review, and administer lease agreements, amendments, and addendums.
  • Ensure all lease documentation is accurately recorded and updated in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate lease renewals, terminations, and rent adjustments.

Rent Collection and Financial Management:

  • Track and process rental payments from tenants, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor rent arrears and initiate necessary actions.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and budgets related to property operations.

Tenant Relations:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for tenant inquiries, requests, and complaints.
  • Communicate with tenants regarding leaserelated matters and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Assist in conducting property inspections and coordinating maintenance or repair work.

Record Keeping and Documentation:

  • Maintain comprehensive and organized records of propertyrelated information, including lease agreements, correspondence, and tenant information.
  • Generate and monitor various reports related to property management and compliance.
  • Assist with document management and data entry tasks.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide support to property managers and other team members as needed.
  • Assist in coordinating property viewings and inspections.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or certification in property management is a plus).
  • Proven experience in a similar administrative role, preferably within a real estate or property management environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to efficiently prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with tenants, clients, and team members.
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
  • Knowledge of local property laws and regulations is desirable.

Salary:
R4, R6,000.00 per month

Experience:
