The Chief Operating Officer plays a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring the efficient functioning of the organization.

As the COO, you will work closely with the executive team to develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. (MBA Preferred)
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in operational management, preferably within the Fintech or banking industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Fintech or banking sector, its products, services, and operational challenges.
  • Demonstrate ability to lead and motivate teams with a focus on driving operational excellence. Inspiring and guiding teams towards operational success.
  • Strategic vision: Ability to develop and execute operational strategies in alignment with the company's longterm vision.
  • Financial acumen: Solid financial analysis skills to assess the impact of operational decisions on the company's bottom line.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements affecting the banking and fintech industry.
  • Communication skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Clear and effective communication to ensure seamless information flow.
  • Change management: Experience in leading and managing organizational change and transformation initiatives.
  • Decision making: Making wellinformed decisions and handling complex situations effectively.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing market conditions and operational challenges.
  • Collaboration: Working collaboratively with HODs and achieving company goals.
  • Problemsolving: Analytical and creative problemsolving skills to address operational issues.
  • Emotional intelligence: Understanding and managing emotions in interactions with others.
  • Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills in dealing with partners.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Optimize processes, manage resources, and mitigate operational risks.
  • Leadership, strategic vision, and strong operational acumen will be essential in driving the company's growth, improving operational efficiency, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Work closely with the executive team to implement business strategies and ensure operational efficiency

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operational strategy: Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Process optimization: Identify areas for improvement and streamline operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Resource management: Oversee resource allocation, including financial, human, and technological resources to support business operations effectively.

  • Performance management: Implement KPIs and metrics to monitor operational performance and make datadriven decisions to improve efficiency.
  • Crossfunctional collaboration: Foster collaboration among different departments to promote seamless workflows and effective communication.
  • Technology integration: Stay updated with emerging technologies and identify opportunities for their integration to enhance operational effectiveness.
