Randburg, Gauteng. Chief Marketing Officer position exists for well-versed marketing specialist with a strong background in brand management, digital marketing, and market research to join well-known concern within the Property industry.


Must have strong analytical skills and be a creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies and campaigns.


Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing marketing campaigns across various channels within an IT environment with an SEO focus
  • Conduct market research and analyse consumer behaviour to identify new opportunities
  • Develop and manage budgets for marketing campaigns with a focus on ROI and SEO performance metrics
  • Track and analyse key performance metrics to measure the success of marketing initiatives in an ECommerce environment
  • Direct brand research and development.
  • Develop the marketing strategy for new and existing products and oversee implementation of the marketing strategy including campaigns, events, digital marketing and Public Relations (PR)
  • Oversee and evaluate market research and adjust marketing strategy to meet changing markets and competitive conditions
  • Plan and oversee advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media and direct mail
  • Develop and recommend product positioning and packaging to produce the highest possible longterm market share
  • Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition
  • Develop and deliver Corporate Communications strategies for the organization

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Marketing
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing branding and marketing strategies
  • 8+ years of experience in brand marketing, preferably in a B2B environment
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Demonstrated experience with digital marketing channels and analytics tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams
  • Up to speed with current and online marketing techniques and best practices
  • Thorough knowledge of web analytics
  • Customeroriented approach and aptitude
