Delivery tasks:

  • Shifts are scheduled into various 12hour shifts as the NOC is operational 24/7. This is nonnegotiable.
  • Monitors Dashboards and Ticketing Systems.
  • Reviews alarm activity and notifies appropriate parties.
  • Responds immediately to issues and/or escalates them when appropriate.
  • Remotely resolves issues.
  • Answers phones and provides exemplary customer service.
  • Troubleshoots ATM/alarm calls and Camera Surveillance.
  • Performs daily, manual status checks.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
  • Responsible for maintenance of NOC owned Systems and Tools
  • Ensure best practices are followed with the operation of NOC Tools
  • Actively seek out opportunities to improve existing NOC Procedures, Systems, and Tools
  • Keep existing NOC Systems and Tools up to date with current and vetted patches
  • Maintain knowledge of recent patches and updates to NOC Systems and Tools
  • Review & Update Policies and Procedures for NOC Systems and Tools on a regular basis
  • Maintain configurations of NOC Systems and Tools and ensure standard configurations are maintained with best practices in mind
  • Bring up any Critical Issue with NOC Systems and Tools that may cause damage to the Business, be it client or Sourcepass
  • Assist other NOC Teams with escalations & questions for NOC systems
  • Interact with Vendors to ensure proper support and training is being utilized
  • Assist the Manager/Lead with the creation of automation to solve NOCrelated problems
  • Assist and/or champion the implementation of new systems within the NOC
  • Assist and/or champion the migration of systems from acquisitions into the NOC

Requirements:

  • 23 years' experience in ITrelated position
  • A+ N+ Qualifications
  • Experience performing daily system monitoring and health checks for various products (i.e., network, security, etc.)
  • Triaging alerts and reporting incidents
  • Correlate data points and determine if an event or incident (i.e., security or network) has occurred
  • Experience with uptodate security best practices and hardening as it relates to protecting enterprise environments from the latest threat landscape
  • Understanding of how DNS works for both legitimate and malicious purposes
  • Understanding network protocols and traffic flow in an enterprise environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly (both verbal and written)
