Project Manager - Systems and Change Management.

Role:

Manage a software implementation with a good understanding of the SDLC and to lead the Change management culture within the organisation.

Experience: 10 years in IT Software Project Management. A solid background in Business process Engineering with the ability to generate Business Process Flowcharts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of X enterprise projects by establishing direction, aligning people and resources and inspiring them to get the job done.
  • Work facetoface with clients throughout the SDLC, understand their problems, deliver an enterprise quality solution and ensure that customer satisfaction remains high.
  • Detailed tracking and communication of project progress from a task, time, schedule and cost perspective.
  • Maintain accurate, modelled and up to date project plans enabling intelligent decision making by all stakeholders.
  • Identify change orders, generating necessary documentation and negotiating such change orders with the client. Become the change control authority for the client company by logging and obtaining authority for all changes required.
  • Manage all Process change requests and ensure that they comply with the process architecture that is being implemented and maintained.
  • Identify risks and escalate them to the management of both the client company as well as Mi-C
  • Unblock project issues by engaging appropriate management and resources where necessary.
  • Liaison and collaborate with internal support groups to ensure that your project finances, expenditures and resources are correctly monitored and forecast at all times.
  • Support the professional development of your project team members.
  • Motivate the people in your team through strong leadership and maintain a good pulse of your project and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of SDLC consulting experience, including a minimum 1 year as a software development team lead with a proven track record of delivering complex systems.
  • Experience as a handson PM managing a portfolio of software /implementation projects typically larger than US$10 mil.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with mínimal supervision.
  • Detail orientated, selfmotivated and highly organised with strong problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to build lasting relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to mediate disagreements competently and negotiate a winwin resolution for all parties.
  • Experience in implementing and developing enterprise scale systems.
  • A proven track record of project planning, executing, controlling and closing projects.
  • Scrum Master or Agile Certification or a proven agile background.
