Due to the growth and expansion of the Service Desk team, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual to join our dynamic team based in Cape Town, South Africa.

You will be part of our global Group Delivery Services team within our Technology and Transformation division.

Providing expert support and advice to our groups businesses and playing an integral role in both day to day operations and continued enhancements of our workplace technology.


Every day you will

  • Ensure all Acacium Group users are able to receive and use the software they need using centralised software deployment methods
  • Regular test and deploy patches/updates to ensure software and apps remain current and free from known bugs or security flaws
  • Ensure all devices connecting to the Acacium Group network are appropriately managed and kept compliant to security standards
  • Use industry best practice to manage and deploy a standardised build to desktops and laptops as well as maintaining builds used on Remote Desktop Services/Virtual Desktops.

To thrive in this role, you must...

  • Have experience in a similar role or of the core capabilities for the role
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Be experienced with MacOS support, RDS and Thin Client setup & support Mimecast
  • Have experience with Network deployment of software, updates and patches
  • Demonstrable experience supporting and troubleshooting IT Hardware, MS 365, MS Client OS
