As a Social Media Manager, you'll play a key role in growing our reach within the tech community online by engaging them with value-adding content.


What you'll do:

  • Work with the Content Team Lead & Head of Brand to create social media roadmaps & campaigns that build our social presence.
  • Create channelspecific social media collateral that drives meaningful engagement and valuable insights for the tech community.
  • Work with key stakeholders to identify opportunities and develop social media content that drives core missions
  • Monitor, engage and organise responses to our community's questions, insights and suggestions in a manner that builds their trust and loyalty in the OfferZen Brand.
  • Act as a channel expert, to provide social media best practices and support OfferZen marketing and community teams to better understand what's happening in the online community and what people are finding valuable.
  • Monitor, review and report on social media performance and iterate to improve social efforts

You'll be a great fit for this role if you have:

  • Excitement about the opportunities that social media presents to us as a business and opinionated on what works and doesn't.
  • 2 years of social media experience: You are a channel expert and understand social media best practices. You understand the best performing channels and content types to optimise our existing content and suggest new content and channels.
  • A related tertiary qualification
  • Communication skills: You are a confident creator who can craft copy that will appeal to and engage the right people at the right time
  • Content creation experience: You've got a solid understanding of content distribution from concept to deployment. From building out a content distribution strategy, optimising for channel objectives, to working with various content types and tools.
  • Topical focus: You understand the tech community (Advantageous: Tech Twitter is your happy place)
  • Stakeholder management: You work well crossfunctionally and with external and internal partners
