Responsibilities:

  • Production Oversight: Direct and oversee all aspects of production, including planning, scheduling, processing, and packaging, to meet production targets and ensure efficiency.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain highquality control standards, ensuring products meet both customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop a highperforming team, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
  • Cost Management: Monitor and control production costs, including materials, labor, and overheads, to maintain profitability.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure regular maintenance and proper operation of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Compliance: Ensure all factory operations comply with industry standards and regulations, including health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization and waste reduction, to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the meat casing or food processing industry.
  • Proven track record of improving production efficiency, quality, and team performance.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and quality standards in the food manufacturing sector.
  • Experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and manufacturing management software.
