The role can be divided into the following areas:
Operations

  • Compiling the monthly MDDs for the UT funds.
  • Compiling monthly and quarterly reports performance, sector attribution and assisting with commentary.
  • Full responsibility for the production of the Quarterly Newsletter. This involves writing articles, editing articles, adding performance and graphs, layout and design and the final distribution.
  • Updating and reconciling monthly performance sheets.
  • Completing Due Dilligence Questionnaires and all relevant supporting documentation.
  • Managing and updating the company website.
  • Setting up and managing Mailchimp to send quarterly or ad hoc reports.
  • Ad hoc tasks
Client Relationship Management

  • Correspondence with existing clients, dealing with any queries or requests.
  • Assisting in setting up regular report back sessions with existing clients.
  • Sending monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reporting
  • Maintaining a current investor list.
Presentations

  • Working closely with business development and portfolio managers in preparing client presentations for all mandate types.
  • Preparing presentations for investment conferences.
  • Maintenance of relevant spreadsheets and graphs for presentations.
  • Presentation work involves but not limited to: slide updates on the business. Updating performance numbers, Sector allocation, portfolio composition and risk factors. Stock focus slides. Macro economic slides using broker research, Bloomberg and Credit Suisse Holt as resources.
  • Responsible for the management of portfolio managers availability and logistics around presentations. Booking meeting rooms, setting up equipment, providing content etc.
  • Sitting in on all presentations and taking notes.
Business Development

  • Updating, Maintaining and improving a client service portal.
  • Reaching out to potential clients to set up meetings.
  • Setting up presentations for meetings with potential investors.
  • Designing and compiling marketing material to be used.
  • Attending investment conferences to represent the business.
  • Ad Hoc marketing material and press releases.
  • Managing the company LinkedIn page.

Experience in the below programs would be an advantage:

  • MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bloomberg
