Medical Receptionist/credit Controller

Required qualifications & skills:

  • National senior certificate (matric) (Must have)
- +-5 years in a specialist practice/ reception and billing (Must have)

  • Excellent computer literacy (Must have)
  • Bilingual: English and Afrikaans (Must have)
  • Understanding of Medical Accounts and Medical Aids (Must have)
  • Knowledge of the Vericlaim system will be advantageous
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (Must have)
  • Own Transport and preferably resident in the Helderberg Basin (Must have)
  • Knowledge of ICD10 codes (Must have)

The successful applicant will be required to have:

  • Effective diary and time management
  • Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and under pressure
  • Exceptionally well presented and professional
  • Highly organized and able to tackle multiple tasks

Main Duties

  • Reception
  • Billing and collection of payments
  • Credit Control: Patients and Medical Aids
  • All other general office duties

Up to R15,000.00 per month
