Job Purpose:

  • Proactively and holistically lead and support all Technical integration of the S4 HANA solution to aligned / required systems and processes (that transfer data or information to S4 HANA).
  • Plan, manage and control 3rd party activities to ensure that integration platform or S4 HANA integration requirements are met.
  • Manage relationships with 3rd party owners and 3rd party technical support teams (internal or outsources service providers).
  • Provide the necessary leadership, analysis and design tasks related to support the architecting and development of integrated technology solutions.

The Person:

  • IT Degree or Diploma.
  • SAP integration experience.
  • Understand technical integration protocols and platforms.
  • IT Application management.

The Job:

  • Manage 3rd party integration budget.
  • Assess proposed integration architecture.
  • Support (review, create) development of project documentation (architecture maps, plans, FDS, TDS, test scripts, training material) required for technical integration.
  • Facilitate, participate and provide input into required technical team workshops.
  • Clearly define and manage dependencies between 3rd parties, other projects and the CBS project.
  • Manage and ensure readiness of 3rd party development and testing (including test environments) to align with CBS streams and milestones.
  • Provide visibility of any business and technology impacts on project and actively managed dependencies.
  • Assess endtoend processes, closing of gaps and integration needs to make these processes work efficiently technical and functional.
  • Ensure aligned and coordinated golive activities with relevant SI Partners and 3rd party suppliers.
  • Identify audit and security requirements and tasks required for compliance.
  • Identify any 3rd party requirements to support the processes in S4 HANA and facilitate the technical design and integration for the 3rd party into the new CBS solution.
  • Manage definition and implement business continuity plans associated with 3rd party integration.
  • Facilitate connectivity between SAP and nonSAP for integration testing and golive.
  • Give input to impact assessments for system changes and replacement of solutions.
  • Ensure business leads are equipped with relevant information to support business readiness and manage execution for golive activities.
  • Training material input and templates for standard processes.
  • Enable and validate quality of Integration testing of systems endtoend.
  • Identify any issues, risks and mitigating actions, escalate to programme management.
  • Validate testing results from SI partner and 3rd parties.
  • Provide test data for Integration scripts.
  • Give input to audit controls for system migration and golive.
  • Align processes for post golive monitoring and setup activities with support structures.
