How you'll role
The successful candidate should be digitally inclined, with a knack for SEO, but also possess a creative writing flair, as well as highly persuasive digital copywriting skills. Seeking mid-level copywriters who can bring experience, and confidently take on an array of diverse clients. You'll also need to be able to quickly and confidently move between briefs for businesses of every kind, including specialist clients in the financial, medical, IT and insurance sectors. Also needing junior level writers to bring that eagerness to learn that will balance the team. These writers will also serve as support to the seniors – they'll need to be agile and adaptable, to 'pick up the slack' in the copy schedule, in order to maintain efficiency. This is also an excellent opportunity for a junior writer to 'cut their teeth' in a highly agile team while gaining valuable experience, and enjoying a multitude of career growth opportunities in the industry.
What you'll need
Experience:
- Crafting compelling content: Demonstrated ability to write engaging long-form blog articles and website content that not only adheres to SEO best practices but also effectively drives organic traffic and enhances search engine rankings
- Content structure and clarity: Strong aptitude for creating clear, informative, and well-structured content that resonates with target audiences and aligns seamlessly with brand voice and messaging, ensuring maximum impact and engagement
- Strategic collaboration: Experience collaborating with cross-functional content teams to develop comprehensive content strategies and editorial calendars that support SEO goals and overarching marketing objectives, fostering alignment and synergy across initiatives
- Industry expertise: Demonstrated commitment to staying abreast of industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in SEO and content marketing, leveraging insights to inform content strategies and drive continuous improvement

- Innovative content generation: Proven ability to generate creative content ideas that captivate audiences and differentiate brands in competitive markets, fostering engagement and loyalty
- Storytelling mastery: Strong proficiency in the art of storytelling, leveraging techniques to craft compelling narratives that resonate with audiences on an emotional level, driving connection and brand affinity
- Adaptability and flexibility: Demonstrated willingness to embrace new ideas, experiment with different content formats and styles, and adapt to evolving trends and consumer preferences, ensuring relevance and impact in dynamic digital landscapes
Versatility as a writer:
- Diverse writing skills: Proficiency across a range of writing styles and formats, from informative blog articles to persuasive marketing copy, demonstrating versatility and adaptability to meet diverse content needs and objectives
- Audience-centric approach: Strong understanding of audience personas and preferences, tailoring content delivery and messaging to resonate with specific target segments, driving engagement and conversion
- Precision and detail orientation: Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to precision in writing, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines and editorial standards across all content assets, for every one of our clients
- Integration of AI writing tools: The ability to incorporate important AI writing tools, such as ChatGPT, into the writer's toolkit, however, always with the caveat that writing tools are only used to enhance output – never as a crutch - and that human input, originality, and creativity drive every written piece. Candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to adhere to this requirement
Additional:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- A robust portfolio showcasing long-form blog articles and website content optimised for search engines
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, including keyword research, on-page optimisation, and content strategy
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a focus on producing high-quality, authoritative content
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
