What will you do?

  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Resolve and/or refer complaints to the relevant person/department both from Pathologists, Nurses and Doctors on Wheels service providers and sales offices.
  • Follow up on requests forwarded to service providers ensuring that appointments are made and kept.
  • Update client information on a regular basis.
  • Keep records updated daily with the feedback received from service providers.
  • Payments of medical examinations/accounts.
  • Reconciliation of medical expense accounts (electronic & manual).
  • Processing of documentation and letters.
  • Open to be trained in other areas of the business.
  • Adhoc tasks.

_The environment necessitates overtime in peak periods. The amount of overtime hours depends on the business need in terms of the volumes received._

What will make you successful in this role?

Qualification:

  • Grade 1
  • Relevant tertiary qualification will be an advantage.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years' relevant experience in the Life Insurance industry within the New Business division.
  • At least 1year experience in a target and production driven environment.
  • Experience in complaints handling.
  • Exposure to reconciliation of accounts as well as payment of service providers.

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Life Assurance and/or Financial Services industry.
