As a crucial member of this team, you will report directly to the Academic Programme Management Team Officer, contributing to the effective coordination and management of our academic initiatives.


Position:
Academic Programme Coordinator

Responsibilities:

Report to the Academic Programme Management Team: Work closely with the Officer to ensure alignment with organisational goals, efficient program execution, and seamless communication within the team.

Alignment with Strategic Objectives:Work to align the International British Curriculum with the school's strategic objectives and priorities, contributing to the overall success of the academic initiatives.

Quality Assurance: Play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of quality within the academic program, ensuring that it meets and exceeds expectations.

Student Engagement and Achievement: Contribute to the delivery of the academic program in a way that maximises student engagement and achievement.

Documentation and Reporting: Assist in the compilation and maintenance of accurate records and reports related to academic programs, ensuring easy access to essential information for the team.

Collaborative Decision-Making: Engage actively in team discussions, contribute insights, and participate in decision-making processes to enhance the overall effectiveness of academic programs.

Academic Program and Professional Development Coordination: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of academic and professional development programmes ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.

Communication Liaison: Act as a communication liaison between the Academic Programme Management Team Officer and other team members, fostering an environment of clear and open communication.

Task Follow-Up: Monitor the progress of assigned tasks, track deadlines, and provide regular updates to the Academic Programme Management Team Officer.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, or a related field.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant digital tools, e.g., Canva and Office 36
  • Previous experience in academic administration or program management is a plus.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Centurion, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

  • Bachelors (required)

Experience:

  • Academic Administration or
Program Management: 2 years (preferred)
