Requirements:
- BA/BS Degree, preferably in Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline or the equivalent of 4 years of related professional experience. 3 Years plus in a Mid to Senior role, more than 6 years plus total experience required.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL in both on
- Indepth knowledge and handson experience with PostgreSQL, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of PostgreSQL architecture, query optimization, database administration and built in functions.
- Database security knowledge.
- Knowledge about cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with security auditing frameworks and best practices.
- Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
- Basic experience with Linux installation and operations processes (Linux Shell Scripting, VI skills)
- Experience with administrating Java Web-Applications.
- Scripting and use of XMLAPI functions.
- Experience in developing new solutions and doing concept work.
- Experience in developing process flows.
- Knowledge of information system concepts and technologies.
- Ability to interface with the business to meet requirements and targets.
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
- Work experience with incident management, change management and problem management.
Advantageous Skills:
- ITIL certification is advantageous.
- Basic experience with SPLUNK is helpful.
- Work experience with database auditing, logging, and monitoring.
- Written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of data modelling and data visualization tools.
Cloud Experience:
Familiarity with cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Understanding of cloud-based database services, such as Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL or Azure Database for PostgreSQL, and the ability to leverage cloud-specific features for managing database access.
