Based in our regional office in Cape Town, South Africa the Junior Account Manager will be responsible for assisting the Senior and Key Account Managers as well as building long term partnerships with their own portfolio of wholesale customers.


  • Responsible for order intake.
  • Visiting wholesale accounts and develop a strong partnerships with customers.
  • Acting as a G-Star brand ambassador at events.
  • Analyze performances of accounts versus planning, identify opportunities and report them to the Senior Account Manager and Country Manager (sell through, conclusions and requests).
  • Identify and develop new accounts and markets.
  • Showroom management.
  • Assisting the Senior and Key Account Managers with adhoc duties
Furthermore, you may be requested to carry out other activities where appropriate.
Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or 23 years relevant retail/sales experience
  • Sales experience with online retailers is a plus
  • Affinity with fashion business
  • Passion for Denim products
  • Selfconfidence and strong personality
  • Enthusiastic, organized, selfdisciplined and pro active
  • Strong analytical, organizational and presentation skills
  • Flexible in working hours and prepared to travel
  • In possession of a driver's license
