Pedersen + Lennard is a furniture design and manufacturing business based in Cape Town, South Africa.


Our team is growing and we're looking to welcome a very organised and detail oriented Logistics Administrator to our production and operations team.

Role effective: 1 March 2023 (earlier if available)

Hours: 40 hours a week, Mon-Fri

Location:
Pedersen + Lennard, Maitland, Cape Town

Reporting to:
Head of Production

Requirements:

  • SA ID or valid work permit
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • At least three years' experience working in an administration role
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment advantageous

RESPONSIBILITIES

Dispatch Logistics

  • Issue customer notifications (via CRM platform) for planned production completion
  • Prepare courier waybills
  • Book courier collections
  • Create all required packing lists
  • Oversee dispatch team have correctly labeled and numbered all orders
  • Issue customer notifications (via CRM platform) for completed & dispatched orders

Stock Management

  • Assisting Assistant Production Manager & section heads with facilitating goods receiving
  • Assisting Assistant Production Manager with stock room inventory management
  • Stock issuing and tracking
  • Invoice & Data Capturing

Production HR Data Capturing

  • Assisting Production Manager with administration related to employee onboarding
  • Capturing overtime worked
  • Monitoring time and attendance reports (preparing files for bookkeeper)
  • Recording leave taken
  • Logging uniform issued

Salary:
R12, R15,000.00 per month

  • High School (matric) (required)
