This role reports to the Operations Manager of Mr D.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence and Process Optimization:

  • Actively manage daily operations within specific departments of Mr D, including order fulfilment, delivery logistics, and customer service to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Develop and update operational procedures to enhance speed, accuracy, and reliability of the Mr D delivery service
  • Utilize data analysis to drive insights focused on customer experience and operational efficiency

Data Analysis and Process Innovation:

  • Lead innovation in operational processes by implementing solutions to address operational challenges and reduce inefficiencies
  • Analyze data across various business areas to identify improvement opportunities and create innovative solutions

Team Collaboration and Support:

  • Collaborate with partners to enhance product quality and availability
  • Provide feedback to the Product Team for refining features and enhancing user experience
  • Resolve payment issues and investigate operational inefficiencies to drive continuous improvement
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members to foster growth
  • Offer leadership in critical situations requiring swift action

Emergency Management:

  • Proactively manage operational emergencies ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
  • Address emergencies during non-traditional hours to maintain operational resilience

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, engineering, finance, or related field. Master's degree is a plus
  • 3-5 years experience in operations, especially in e-commerce, logistics, or a fast-paced industry
  • Proficient in data analytics and translating metrics into actionable insights
  • Experience in managing operational emergencies and focusing on customer satisfaction
  • Knowledge of SQL or Python is beneficial
