Regional Project Management & Controls Systems Lead to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG) in Johannesburg.

PDG helps clients reach their business goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. We ensure world-class project delivery through the skills of our people, methodologies, governance, and systems.

Summary;


An ambitious individual is required to join a team of other regional leads whose mandate is the ongoing improvement of project controls systems implementation and adoption.

This team defines a vision for Project Management and Control systems and iteratively delivers upon that vision.


The individual who fills this role will be empowered to own the outcomes for their region and to take action to achieve them, with the support of 2 interns.


Communication

  • Work with sector and regional leadership to implement and maintain the overall vision and strategy
  • Interact with a wide group of stakeholders to facilitate continuous improvement
  • Engage with relevant product teams and their stakeholders as relevant
  • Identify communication requirements, plan and execute communications

Design, development and testing:

- development and improvement backlogs

  • Identify and manage systemsrelated business improvement initiatives
  • Participate in and facilitate user acceptance testing of relevant systems

Training:

  • Contribute to the ongoing development and update of training material
  • Facilitate improved competency of employees for tools and processes through training and any other relevant means

Support:

  • Manage and resolve tickets on relevant incidents (level 1 functional support)
  • Contribute to and, where required, facilitate meetings routinely to ensure adequate functional and technical support is in place
  • Facilitate organisational change during rollout and post implementation of delivery tools to maintain ongoing user adoption and transitioning of users

You bring to the role;

Skills;

  • Outstanding written and verbal language skills in English and any language(s) required for the region
  • Clear and effective communication
  • Very good task management skills, able to delegate effectively
  • Very good organisational and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to learn and implement new skills and concepts within a short period of time
  • High aptitude for autonomy and problem solving
  • Willingness to travel

Expereince;

  • Project Management or Controls Certification or adequate experience
  • 515 years' experience across any or all of these (or closely related) fields:
  • Project Management,
  • Product Management,
  • Business Analyst or
  • Project Controls
