Join us as the Africa Field Marketing Manager and take charge of driving awareness, attracting new business opportunities, nurturing customers, and expanding our user community in the region. Collaborate with the local sales team on scalable marketing initiatives, contribute to the sales pipeline, and increase visibility and adoption of our cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement marketing campaigns targeting private and public sector organizations in Africa from a Named account list.
  • Generate Qualified Sales Opportunities (QSOs) & pipeline for African Named Account List through demand & partner programs.
  • Analyze and track marketing campaign performance to ensure objectives are achieved.
  • Work across teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns.
  • Enhance Africa NAL leadership perception & consideration of our cloud solutions.
  • Customize global and regional campaigns for the local market based on customer and regional insights.
  • Promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and African Culture. Foster a sense of community and empathy towards customers, integrating inclusion into marketing processes.
  • Develop and gain approval for the marketing strategy for our cloud solutions in South Africa.
  • Oversee customer acquisition and pipeline generation programs including events, digital campaigns, and account-based marketing initiatives.
  • Effectively position our products and solutions to target customers, enhancing awareness and consideration through engaging programs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of our marketing campaigns.
  • Boost awareness, recognition, and perception of our cloud solutions among analysts and influential organizations.

Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of practical experience in marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and implementing marketing programs and managing budgets.
  • Background in B2B technology marketing.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in marketing technical products, including enterprise software acquisition, development, and implementation cycles.
  • Familiarity with CIO, ITDM, and Developer audiences.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and Marketing Automation tools (e.g., Marketo) to evaluate campaign effectiveness.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and international projects.
  • Proactive self-starter with the capacity to initiate and complete tasks independently.
  • Effective communication skills in business and technical contexts.
  • An MBA from a reputable program.

Experience:
  • Minimum of 5-7 years in marketing, particularly in B2B technology marketing.
  • Experience in planning and executing marketing programs and managing budgets.
  • Background in marketing technical products, including enterprise software procurement, development, and deployment.
