JDJ Diagnostics requires a Regional Transport Manager to oversee and manage the transport division for the collections / logistics to make sure that goods and samples are collected and delivered promptly and efficiently.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversees vehicle maintenance to guarantee that every vehicle is in good mechanical condition for prompt and effective sample collection and delivery.
  • In charge of efficiently managing the fleet and route logistics to ensure prompt collection and delivery of samples, reports, and shuttle service.
  • To provide highquality customer service, handles client grievances as well as escalated inquiries and complaints.
  • Is in charge of cost management for the division to guarantee that costs are kept within reasonable bounds.
  • Checks Geotab drivers' speeds to ensure that courier regulations and procedures are followed, that employees are not infringing on speed limits, and to lower accident and vehicle damage rates.
  • Controls employee absences to guarantee that there are enough employees on hand to carry out the necessary tasks.
  • Coordinates the nationwide movement of products and samples to guarantee the prompt and effective collection and delivery of goods and samples.
  • Oversees the daytoday operations of the transport department, including the approval of leave and overtime requests, disciplinary actions, and staff development.

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid Driver's license.


 Matric
  • Grade 1
  • Relevant Diploma (advantageous).

Experience
- +Min years experience.
Supervisory experience.

Required skills

  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • Broad knowledge of basic laboratory techniques.
  • Previous experience in a laboratory or medical setting.
  • Comfortable using medical technologies and lab equipment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to properly clean and maintain equipment.

  • Communication skills (Verbal, writer presentation). Computer Literacy.
