Our client who specialise in in the manufacture, delivery, erection and project management of today's smart, fast, modular building solutions, is looking for a Regional Manager - Coastal Branches to join their team based in Triangle Farm, Cape Town.

Main purpose:

Oversight responsibility of the effective management of the coastal branches, namely Durban & Cape Town.

To ensure the smooth running of the coastal branches.

Increasing company customer base in the coastal region.

Develop working relationship with the Western & Eastern Cape Education Departments.

Requirements:

Matric and Computer literate.

Business management diploma/degree.

Sales and business management experience.

At least 5 years' experience in managing a sales team.

Prior experience in a rental business.

Great team player.

Good personal, interpersonal and communication skills.

Positive attitude, high energy, and motivational levels.

Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

Experienced in working with excel spreadsheets.

Compiling budgets.

Key responsibilities and functions:

Rentals & Sales

Responsible for ensuring the coastal branches meet their set turnover targets and assisting with developing necessary action plans to overcome revenue shortfalls.

Develop and maintain good and strong relations with coastal region customers.

Handling of complaints and queries from the coastal region customers.

Guide coastal branch resources in the performance of their duties.

Assist branch managers with the preparation and presentation of annual budgets of the branch.

Maintaining utilisation of coastal branches at budgeted levels and above.

Growing Secured Revenue Streams of coastal branches.

Growing the customer base of the coastal region.

Growing revenue from Western & Eastern Cape Education Dept.

Asset Management

Management/ Guardian of Branch assets in particular the rental fleet, stock and office equipment.

Maintain refurbishment costs and costs to serve as low as possible.

Ensure proper maintenance of Branch rental fleet.

Health & Safety

Overall responsibility for understanding communicating and ensuring adherence to Health and Safety Standards at the branch as well as on site.

General

Ensure coastal branches achieve their budgeted profit.

Growing the Abacus/ Waco Modular brand.

Responsible for adhering to Company Policies and Procedures and ensuring all the right paperwork is correct and submitted on time.
