Qualifications and Experience
  • Post Grade 12 / tertiary qualification in a related field advantageous
  • 2-3 years experience in an Operations and Client Services environment or in dealing with commission / fee processes and payments along with exposure to financial processes
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Financial Services Industry, including basic product knowledge and commission/fee payment processes
  • Knowledge of operations and client services
The Commissions Administrator role is crucial for providing support to the regions within the business enablement team. This individual serves as the primary point of contact for all commission and income processing distributed to Financial Planning Partners, playing a vital role in the organization's day-to-day operations.
Operational Support (10%)
  • Assist with general office management tasks
  • Handle ordering of stationery and office refreshments
  • Monitor company email accounts
  • Process Investec CCM withdrawals and account openings

Commission Management (75%)
  • Collaborate with Finance and MIS reporting teams
  • Maintain employee database on the commission system
  • Monitor daily bank statements and reconcile deposits
  • Process individual product provider commission statements
  • Create and process manual commission payments
  • Manage queries and handle suspense entries
  • Prepare month-end reconciliation packs

Other Duties (5%)
  • Contribute actively to team initiatives
  • Support colleagues in their work

Important Relationships
  • Reports to the Head of Operations
  • Interacts with Partnership Operations Managers, Directors, and Portfolio Managers
  • Engages with Financial Planning Partners and Assistants
  • Develops relationships with product providers
