Role description

We're looking for a Social Media Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and managing the social media presence of a brand. Your primary role is to create, curate, and manage content across various social media platforms to engage with the target audience effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Developing engaging and relevant content for social media posts that align with the brand's voice, tone, and objectives.
  • Content Calendar Management: Planning and maintaining a content calendar to ensure consistent posting schedules and timely delivery of content.
  • Social Media Strategy Development: Creating comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and achieve marketing goals.
  • Community Engagement: Monitoring social media channels, responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly, and fostering positive interactions with followers.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Tracking key performance metrics, analyzing data insights, and preparing regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of social media campaigns.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with the marketing team, designers, copywriters, and other stakeholders to align social media efforts with overall marketing strategies.
  • Campaign Planning: Conceptualizing and executing social media campaigns, contests, promotions, or partnerships to boost brand visibility and engagement.
  • Stay Updated: Keeping abreast of industry trends, algorithm changes on different platforms, and emerging technologies to implement best practices in social media management.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related fields is preferred.
  • Prior experience in social media management or digital marketing roles is essential.
  • Strong creative skills to develop engaging content that resonates with the target audience
  • Ability to interpret data analytics tools to measure campaign performance and optimize strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for crafting compelling copy and engaging with followers.
  • Effective time management abilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
