Compliance Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Compliance activities across SSA, including East and West Africa.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into compliancerelated matters.
  • Collaborate with management to provide recommendations based on investigation findings.
  • Interact with associates at all levels of the organization to address compliance concerns and provide guidance.
  • Ensure reinforcement and implementation of ABAC (Anti bribery/anticorruption) policy throughout the organization.
  • Assist in delivering awareness training sessions to raise compliance awareness across SSA.
  • Oversee due diligence process for intermediaries and ensuring alignment with FCPA regulations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance initiatives and strategies.
  • Provide support during ABAC audits related to compliance matters.

Requirements:

  • Ethical mindset with a commitment to upholding compliance standards.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Law, Finance).
  • Minimum of 45 years of experience in Compliance/Legal/Audit roles.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough investigations and analyze findings.
  • Ability to engage with management and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Knowledge of FCPA regulations.
  • Experience in delivering training or creating content for compliance awareness preferred.
  • Detailoriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
