Project Manager to support our Kitting Department.

Position Summary:

The Stellenbosch based project manager is going to support our global kitting team. This team focuses on kitting projects in Europe and the US. The kitting business is complex and requires detailed-eye and the ability to juggle multiple on-going tasks. This position focuses most on the administrative and internal processes of project management.

On a daily basis you will be in close contact with colleagues in the US and Europe to ensure a smooth operation.

You will guard timelines, gather project requirements, and you will specialize in the documentation and coordination of these projects.

You will work with our vendors and partners to ensure products arrive on time and will create new processes and project specific procedures.

Our kitting business is ISO13485 certified and it's crucial to work diligently and precisely.

This is a diverse position that requires quick thinking, efficient planning and an open communication with suppliers, customers and internal departments.


PROJECT MANAGER KITTING SOUTH AFRICA

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintaining an excellent overview of timelines and task
  • Manage your own tasks and ensure other departments, suppliers and colleagues deliver their part of the project on time
  • Maintain project documentation and production instructions
  • You ensure correct reporting
  • You maintain contact with the customer and other stakeholders
  • You are an important link between the customer and various internal departments including the IT team; production; Supply-Chain and R&D
  • Create project calculation and quotations

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University Degree and/or working level
  • Excellent English language skills (verbally and in writing)
  • Creative and stressresistant
  • Enthusiastic and a selfstarter
  • Commercially minded
  • Proficient in MS office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
  • Talent for multitasking
  • Eager to learn
  • Affinity with IT is a plus
  • Affinity with manufacturing processes is a plus
