A well-established multi-manager asset management firm is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and results-driven Head of Sales to join our team in Johannesburg.

We offer a full range of funds on all major platforms, including offshore domiciled funds, catering to the needs of Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to grow our client base, AUM, and revenue across all segments, including IFAs, institutional investors, and retail clients.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand our presence on major platforms to maximize our product distribution.
  • Grow and develop the sales team, setting performance targets and providing ongoing coaching and support.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with current key stakeholders, including platform providers, IFAs, and other distribution partners.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify potential opportunities and challenges.
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management on distribution activities and performance against targets.
  • Serve as a member of the Investment Committee, contributing insights and expertise to the decisionmaking process

What are we looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field and an advanced degree or professional qualification (e.g., CFP, CFA Level 2/3) is preferred.
  • A minimum of 810 years of experience in the asset management industry, with a proven track record in sales, or business development.
  • Strong established network within the IFA and institutional investor communities.
  • Indepth knowledge of the asset management landscape, including products, platforms, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with offshore domiciled funds and understanding of their unique features and benefits could be advantageous.
  • Team development and management skills.

Salary:
R60, R100,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Sandton, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
