Looking for a challenging and rewarding career as an International Sales Manager? Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a driven and experienced individual to take charge of all local and international sales activities with a focus on the leisure market.

As the International Head of Sales, you will be responsible for building an exceptional international presence for the Hospitality Portfolio.

This is a full-time position based in Cape Town, offering a competitive salary of R60k to R65k per month, 50% employer/employee pension contribution, and Discovery medical aid.

Job Duties:


Develop and implement a sales plan in line with the business objectives of the Newmark Hotels group, with a specific focus on selling to the leisure market.

Research and establish relationships with new and existing clients, including major accounts, travel agents, and product buyers in the leisure sector.

Attend trade exhibitions and workshops, as well as plan and host FAM/sales trips and site inspections to each property within the group.

Maintain accurate records of progress with clients, including correspondence and sales activity, and adhere to the "Chase System."
Produce necessary reports for management, including daily, weekly, and monthly reports.

Coordinate with other departments, such as Front Office, Reservations, Food & Beverage, Banqueting, and Revenue teams, to ensure seamless delivery of service to clients.

Perform all necessary administrative duties, including completing reports and maintaining accurate records in the company's CRM system.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in a sales or marketing role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and establishing strong relationships with clients.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and work effectively with other departments.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Ability to travel both domestically and internationally.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and positive attitude.
