Management of Division

  • Ensure that all areas of work performance are properly staffed and directed and in accordance with the Quality. Management System.
  • Provide training, coaching, development and motivation to bring out the best in each team member.

  • Maintain and enforce Personnel Policy.

Sales

  • Assess local market conditions, identify current and prospective sales opportunities and manage the forecast, financial objectives and business plans.
  • Develop and implement sales and profitability plans according to customer management principles that ensure the development and maintenance of Key Accounts.
  • Participate actively in business and industry organizations to build a network of contacts.

Management of Projects and Clients

  • Oversee projects financial management.
  • Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.
  • Cooperate fully with Credit department.
  • Take prompt corrective action as needed.
  • Achieve the profitability goals/objectives.
  • Review Draughting: Drawings, test results, and labelling.
  • Managing Project Coordination.
  • Resolve projects' higher scope issues

Design and Infrastructure Solutions architect

  • Analysing the technology environment
  • Analysing enterprise specifics
  • Analysing and documenting client requirements
  • Assisting in setting up the collaboration framework
  • Participating in the Client collaboration framework
  • Creating a solution prototype and or design
  • Participating in technology selection
  • Data Centre Design and familiarisation of Brands and solutions.
  • Networking Infrastructure Design (ISO Level 1& 2).
  • Consulting solution development
  • Review Operation
  • Electrical, Fibre Installation, and Data Cabinets.
  • Review Draughting: Drawings, test results, and labelling.
  • Supporting project management

Administration

  • Maintain proficiency in computerised systems and other technologies as required.
  • Manage the process of all business data captured timeously and review effectiveness and efficiency in accordance to group requirements and organisational strategy.
  • Increase personal knowledge and expertise in business, appropriate technology, etc.
  • Follow Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Ensure that all working capital requirements are met as stipulated in the Company's objectives.
  • Ensure that the required returns on capital employed are met, and processes followed for the request to purchase capital equipment.
  • Manage the process of asset maintenance and regularly review assets and ensure assets are accounted for and frequently inspected.
  • Manage the process of handover documents completion to Project and Company standards, and delivered to the client within a reasonable time frame after completion for project closure.
  • Review Administration.

Employment Equity

  • Consult the EE plan and make hiring decisions in alignment with the plan. Where not possible submit business case motivation to CEO and EE manager.

Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Responsibilities

  • Report any deviations that could lead to an accident
  • Participate in Safety Training to improve safety standards
  • Report incidents and accidents before the end of a shift
  • Adhere to the Company's Health and Safety policy and procedure
  • Look after your own safety and that of other employees
  • Ensure that the SHEQ Management System requirements are met towards customer, internal, ISO, regulatory / legal requirements.
  • Manage and perform all internal processes, especially those that affect the quality of the Organization's products.
  • Work with Customers, Colleagues and Contractors towards continual improvement of the Management system and report the need for improvement to Management.
  • Keep up standards and regulations with respect to Products and Services

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Matric.
  • Completed Certified Courses in:
  • Project Management
  • Data Centre Design
  • Networking Design
  • Solutions Architect (Networking and Hardware) 10 years' experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years working experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of Draughting, Fiber Installation, and Data Cabinet Installation.
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Your own car.
  • Available to travel.
